Second up and with the addition of blinkers, Oxford Bella was well-supported to win on Sunday and she didn’t let the team down with a dominant winning performance.
Despite being a little slow away, the mare was able to quickly muster speed and settle in 3rd position tracking the pace. Eased to the outside by her rider Grant Buckley as they worked into the home turn, Oxford Bella hit the front very early in the straight and sustained a strong finish all the way to the winning post to score by 3/4 of a length.
