With a super consistent race record of 4 wins and 4 placings from just 10 race starts it was very rewarding to see Turning capture his first metropolitan win at Canterbury on Wednesday!
Ridden by Sam Clipperton the son of Star Turn jumped straight to the front and despite being challenged in earnest by Zakeriz in the latter stages of the home straight he dug deep and fought on tenaciously to win the BM 72 over 1250m by a long head!
With just 3 runs this preparation resulting in a win and 2 3rds Turning will now head to the paddock for a short break.
