Producing 2 promising trial performances, 2yo True Crime headed to the races for his debut at Gosford on Thursday over 1100m and after showing good early pace to travel in front on the rails he was given no peace at all when one took him on the whole way.
With the horse outside the leader hanging badly on the home turn, True Crime gave a terrific kick off the bend on straightening and in a courageous and gutsy effort held on defiantly to win on debut for his excited Darby Bloodstock owners, being a terrific value purchase at just 25k!
