Things certainly didn’t go Trajection’s way early in the 1400m maiden handicap today at Tuncurry!

Being crossed early from her inside gate the filly was forced to settle further back than anticipated in 6th position travelling on the fence. Then at about the 1200m mark she copped a pretty decent check when tightened for room from horses on her outside.

Having to ease across behind runners in an effort to come to the extreme outside on straightening, once in the clear Trajection let down strongly to score by a length, overcoming quite a bit of adversity in the process.

Congratulations to her owners Darby Bloodstock and to all the team!
