With 6 runners early in the program at Wyong on Thursday the stable was hoping for a good day out and when Always In broke through for her maiden win in race 1 the winners continued when first-starter and talented 2yo Super News scored in very impressive style!
The win of Always In was such a big thrill for everyone in the stable, having trained and part-owned her mother Never Out and to have her first foal win at just her 3rd race start was a fantastic result!
Always In with just the one barrier trial under her belt did a great job to win sustaining a very long run from well back over the 1350m trip and I have no doubt she will take improvement fitness wise from the run.
Super News off the back of an eye-catching 2nd in a recent barrier trial where his time and sectionals were outstanding, brought his A game to the track on debut! Jumping from barrier 11 of 11 Super News (pictured below) travelled 4 and 5 wide throughout without any cover yet still reigned superior in the run to the line to win by just over a length.
