Despite the horror outside draw of barrier 16, talented 4yo son of Puissance de Lune, Bethencourt proved too classy for his opposition with a very impressive win in the BM 64 over 1350m at Wyong on Thursday with James McDonald aboard.
At just his 3rd race start there is no doubt that Bethencourt is still learning his trade but with 2 wins and one unlucky close up 2nd this handsome gelding certainly looks to have a very bright future.
