2yo Rubick filly Sweet Ruby showed nice improvement from her recent debut 3rd placing at Gosford to go 2 better when she competed against the older girls in the fillies and mares 1000m maiden at Muswellbrook on Friday with Serg Lisnyy in the saddle!
Ridden positive from her outside gate, Sweet Ruby sped across the field to travel in front and despite being given little peace throughout she proved far too strong in the run to the line to score by almost 3 lengths .
The full-sister to the stable’s talented Erno, Sweet Ruby looks to be a filly with plenty of improvement to come.
