Sweet Ruby relished the step up to 1600m when she scored a gutsy win over the short-priced favourite Sword Point at Warwick Farm on Wednesday with apprentice Dylan Gibbons once again in the saddle!
With the favourite tracking Ruby everyone she went, the 2 staged a great battle in the home straight with the filly proving too strong for the colt!
Sweet Ruby has an impressive little race record of 4 wins, 4 placings from just 11 starts and after having a little freshen for a week she will come back to the stable and prepare for the Autumn 3yo fillies races.
