Seeingisbelieving stepped up to City grade today when he competed in the BM 74 handicap over 1900m at Canterbury with Brenton Avdulla aboard.
With two riders cutting each other’s throats in front, Seeingisbelieving travelled in 4th position throughout. When the leaders start to faint rounding the home turn, he was eased 4 wide to make his run and in a ding dong battle with the winner he was forced to settle for a close-up 2nd placing, in what was a very quickly run 1900m event!
What a tough, consistent boy Ripley has been since joining the Kim Waugh stable!
