Lightly raced, All Too Hard 3yo Rock Step has returned a much more mature filly this preparation and it was great to see her back up her excellent first-up run over 1200m to win her maiden over 1400m in dominant fashion at Scone on Monday!
Jumping quickly from the gates her rider Jeff Penza had no hesitation in rolling forward from her outside gate to travel in 2nd position, racing outside the leader.
Turning for home Jeff asked the filly to extend and in a tough on-pace display Rock Step found plenty in the run to the line to score by almost a length.
