Turning extended his winning record to 3 wins and 1 placing from 6 starts with a dominant 2nd-up win at Newcastle on the weekend with his rider Rory Hutchings also making it 3 wins aboard the son of Star Turn!
Following his terrific first-up run which saw him run the fastest final sectionals of the whole meeting at Wyong, Turning was able to capitalize on a good barrier and the step up to 1200m to travel in 2nd position before dashing clear in the home straight to win by 1 1/2 lengths, being eased down close to the line.
