Whilst there is no doubt that Oxford Tycoon has had a frustrating preparation this time in with bad draws and not much racing luck, the stable certainly were able to push that to the side when Tycoon was able to bounce back into the winners circle with a terrific win in the first heat of the 1350m Provincial Summer series at Wyong on Saturday courtesy of a terrific ride by Jeff Penza!
Travelling in 3rd position throughout, Jeff made his move at about the 500m and pinched a lovely break on his opposition which saw Oxford Tycoon score by half a length with the 3rd horse almost 4 lengths away.
