Following their impressive first-up performances two weeks ago at Rosehill, Oxford Tycoon and Manhattan Mist return to that same track on Saturday!
Oxford Tycoon which accepted in two races on Saturday will run in the BM 88 over 1200m with Jay Ford aboard. This looks a suitable race for Tycoon although he does have to overcome a wide gate in barrier 10. Poor Misty has an even wider gate to contend with, drawing barrier 16 of 17 in the BM 88 over 1500m.
Both horses will appreciate a significant drop in weight, carrying 5kgs less than they did first-up. Let’s just hope they get the early luck from their outside gates and are there when the whips are cracking over the last 200m.
