With two runs under his belt and a drop back in grade to a 50k C5 Set Weights race, Manhattan Mist looked extremely well-graded to make a return to the winners circle and that is exactly what he did on Sunday at Wyong under the guidance of Josh Parr.

With the speed an absolute cracker up front Josh was able to slot the big fella in to a midfield position travelling one off the fence.

At about the 600m with the leaders a fair way in front, Parr commenced to urge Misty forward and in a long searching run he was able to circle the field and surge to the front to score a dominant victory, in fact he was eased down to score by two lengths.

Great work to win the first heat of the Spring Provincial Series with the final worth 150k set to be run at Kembla Grange on December 1st.

Congratulations to all our staff and our winning owners!
