Linguee extended her winning race record to 2 wins from 3 starts with a last-to-first impressive first-up victory at Newcastle on Saturday with Alysha Collett aboard in the 1200m C1 handicap.
With the speed on up front Alysha was happy to let Linguee find her feet and ease back in behind the pace, which saw her travel last and 2nd last.
Tracking the race favourite into the home turn, Linguee let down strongly in the home straight, motoring to the line to score by almost half a length.
