Linguee stepped into unknown territory when she lined up in the C2 handicap over 1400m at Taree on Tuesday and the stable was happy to see the filly handle the step up in trip to 7 furlongs and score a dominant victory.

Jumping well Linguee eased in behind the speed to eventually travel in 7th position. Approaching the 400m her rider Rory Hutchings brought Linguee to the outside to improve and being a fair way off the leaders I thought the 3yo filly did a great job to make a long sustained run to grab victory close to the line and score by almost half a length taking her race record to 3 wins from 6 starts!

Congratulations to her owners and to all the team!
