Judge Judi almost had the perfect start to her new home here at Kim Waugh Racing with a close-up 2nd at Kembla Grange on Thursday.
Ridden by Jason Collett, the mare travelled in 4th spot throughout before being held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Once in the clear she worked home strongly to the line and as her rider said on dismounting, she would have won with a clear run from the top of the straight!
The daughter of Star Witness seems to have come through the run well and is on target to run again in two weeks time.
