Jervis, having just his 2nd race start, turned around an unlucky debut run with a gutsy win in the 1400m maiden at Scone on Thursday with Serg Lisnny aboard!
Travelling midfield on the fence, Jervis was eased to the outside on straightening and in a thrilling finish defeated the leader which had kicked clear at the top of the straight with the 3rd horse 2 lengths away.
Having only joined the stable in December, the 3yo son of Vancouver is on target to run again next week.
