Holy Reign put the writing on the wall with an excellent first-up 2nd placing at Newcastle earlier in the month and backed that up with a gutsy win at Kembla Grange last Thursday.
After travelling in 2nd position throughout on the back of a hot pace, Holy Reign strolled to the front early in the home straight and kicked well clear before tiring a little late, to win by a quarter of a length with Sam Clipperton aboard.
