The Kim Waugh Racing stable enjoyed a great winning day at Wyong on Tuesday with our three runners producing a winning double and a 2nd!

Lightly raced 3yo filly So Very Vein enjoyed a nice run in behind the leaders before finishing 2nd in the 1100m maiden and will no doubt come in to her own as she steps up in distance.

Joy For Us pushed aside all her bad luck she had recieved in her two runs this preparation with a well-deserved win in the C1 1350m handicap with a masterly ride provided by Josh Parr. Settling well back early the daughter of Lonhro was able to improve on the inside to midfield as they approached the home turn. Cutting the corner and angling out to make a run on straightening, Joy For Us showed that nice turn of foot she has to score by half a length.

Finally to our war horse White Boots! Sent to the post a short-priced favourite, Boots as he is affectionately known around the stables, travelled close to the pace throughout before prevailing by a 1/4 of length, adding to his already impressive race record of 6 wins and 4 placings from 11 starts.

Congratulations to all our owners and to the team for a job well done!
