Wow what an exciting win from Fuchu today at Randwick on the Kensington track with his regular rider Robbie Dolan aboard!
Following his sensational run in the Provincial Championship final, the blinkers were applied in an effort to get the son of All Too Hard to switch him on and settle closer in his race and well it certainly did the trick!
Stepping up to 1550m and drawing an inside gate, Fuchu was able to settle in the box seat before struggling to find a clear run as they rounded the home turn. It was touch and go in the straight but finally Robbie was able to gain a split and driving Fuchu through the gap he was able to quicken nicely and score a well-deserved victory!
