Our little bulldog Fuchu (pictured) lines up in the final heat of the Provincial Championsips at Wyong on Saturday! After finishing a close-up 4th in his first-up run in an earlier heat at Newcastle, Fuchu must run in the top 3 to qualify for the 13th of April Final.
With his regular rider Robbie Dolan riding at Rosehill, Serg Lisnyy who has ridden Fuchu once for a 3rd placing, takes the reins.
With good speed appearing likely, let’s hope Fuchu can show his customary good turn of foot at the business end.
City of Love broke through for her maiden win when she ran first-up at Newcastle 3 weeks ago and she looks well-placed again when she competes in the 1350m C1 handicap on Saturday with Serg Lisnyy aboard.
The stable has 2 lovely 2yo’s making their race debuts at Wyong, Erno and Trajection. Both have drawn a touch wide so will need luck from their draws. Erno impressed at his most recent trial when winning easily whilst Trajection finished 2nd.
