French Bonnet is certainly an eye-catching filly to look at and her captivating looks match her ability with the daughter of Puissance de Lune scoring another easy victory, this time at Gosford in the 1200m C1 handicap with Tommy Berry aboard.
With the speed on up front, Berry was happy to come back in behind the pace and travel in 4th position. Eased 3 wide to make her run rounding the home turn, French Bonnet showed a brilliant turn of foot to quickly speed past her rivals and win by 2 1/2 lengths, bringing her career record to 2 wins and a very unlucky 3rd on debut from just the 3 starts.
The filly is on target to have her next run in a 3yo graduation over 1400m at Warwick Farm on Wednesday week.
