After a fast-finishing 4th on debut for his new stable, it was great to see Dimaggio back that up with a dominant win in what was a very competitive BM 64 handicap over 1200m at Kembla Grange on Saturday with Rory Hutchings aboard!
Arriving from Melbourne earlier this year Dimaggio following a break at Mahtoum Lodge, transferred over to the track at Wyong and settled in well to his new routine very quickly.
With 2 easy trials wins leading into his first-up run, the stable couldn’t have been more impressed with the 6yo son of Deep Field so it was great to see him vindicate that with a win so early in his preparation with the Kim Waugh Racing team.
