Different Strokes had put the writing on the wall with a couple of impressive placings at his first 2 race starts so it was great to see him improve from 3rd on debut then 2nd to 1st on Cup day at Wyong!
Ridden once again by James McDonald, Different Strokes only jumped fairly in the 1350m maiden but once into stride Jmac had no hesitation in letting him stride around the outside to travel outside the leader before proving too strong in the run to the line to score by over a length!
