After 5 frustrating placings it was great to see City of Love break through for her maiden win today at Newcastle with Robbie Dolan aboard.
Originally set to race on Friday at Newcastle, after doing the form on her Saturday race the stable and connections felt the latter was the weakest option and the rest as they say is history!
Settling well back with a genuine tempo up front the daughter of So You Think stormed down the outside to score by 1 1/2 lengths.
