Great to see Chipper finally put it all together and finish off his race strongly with a dominant win in the BM 64 Midway over 1000m at Wyong on Thursday with Jay Ford aboard.
With 6 placings Chipper lost his way a little following his dynamic 5 length maiden win last preparation and whilst he has been honest and not beaten far he has not been able to put his opposition away.
With the blinkers on for the first time and a step back to the 1000m journey, Chipper travelled close to the pace throughout before taking over at the top of the straight and being eased up late was still able to win by almost 2 lengths.
