Celer will put behind him an unlucky last start 5th placing on the Kensington track when he heads to Newcastle on Saturday to run in the Benchmark 70 over 1200m with Serg Lisnyy aboard.
Drawing nicely in gate 2, Celer should be able to settle in the box seat and enjoy the run of the race which gives him a great top 3 chance!
The stable’s other runner on the day Belle De Vega is also in a very suitable race at Scone on Monday so we will wait till final scratchings on Saturday morning before making a decision on where she runs.
