Despite the frustrating wide run of barrier draws, Celer was able to overcome all adversity with an exciting last to first win at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
With the blinkers on for the first time, Celer was forced to go back to last from his wide gate and even heading into the home turn he had the entire field in front of him.
Producing a gem of a ride, Tommy Berry stuck to the inside, cutting the corner and when the run presented in the straight Celer let down strongly to score by 3/4 of a length.
