Buba looked very well-placed dropping back to restricted provincial grade on Saturday at Newcastle especially with the 3kg claim of Jackson Searle and courtesy of a lovely rails-hugging ride by Jackson the mare went on to win the BM 68 over the mile by almost 3 lengths and is now on target to contest a BM 72 Midway over the same trip on Saturday week at Randwick.
