Having not raced since October last year and with just the one jumpout under her belt, Black Jacamar found a very suitable race at Taree on Monday being the BM 58 over 1000m and with the 4kg claim of local apprentice Anna Roper she enjoyed the run of the race in behind the leader before proving too strong in the final stages to score by half a length taking her career record to 3 wins and 3 placings from 7 starts.
