Bethencourt has shown his liking for the wet tracks, with an easy 4 length win at Randwick on a heavy 10 a couple of Saturday’s ago but he really excelled on the heavy 10 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday when after travelling in front he careered away to win by 8 lengths being untouched by his jockey in the run to the line!
Taking his career record to 5 wins and 5 placings from just 16 starts, the 5yo son of Puissance De Lune has been nominated for the Listed Lord Mayors Cup over 2000m on Saturday at Rosehill so let’s hope we see these soft/heavy track conditions hang around for the weekend.
