White Boots takes on a 7 day back-up when he runs today at Randwick with 2kg claiming apprentice Blaike McDougall aboard on a heavy 9 surface. Finishing 3rd on a heavy 9 over 2000m at Rosehill last Saturday, Boots has drawn barrier 9 of 9 runners after scratchings and if he can handle the back-up and get the luck early from his outside gate he looks a great top 3 chance here.

At Newcastle Seeingisbelieving looks well-placed in the BM 64 handicap over 1860m with Serg Lisnyy on top whilst Belle De Vega (pictured) also looks to be in a suitable race when she competes in the 1300m C2 handicap with Serg as well on board. Both however have to overcome wide barrier draws as seems to be the order of the day for the stable!
