Whilst there were only 4 stable runners at Newcastle barrier trials today, they all certainly made a strong impression with pleasing results.
Winner of 5 from 9 White Boots edged out his stablemate King Viv in the 1200m open trial with both horses now ready to head back to the racetrack.
A nice maiden performer that is displaying talent on the trial circuit Vega Rhythm, impressed when coming from last to win an open heat defeating the well-performed Le Romain. He looks one to watch when he hits the racetrack!
Finally great to see our talented winner of 5 from 7 Spring Charlie (pictured) resume with a strong win in heat 3 indicating he has returned bigger and better than ever. He will trial again in two weeks time before heading to a heat of the Provincial Championsip!
