Jumping back from the 1350m trip to 1100m was a tactic Kim was hoping would work in enticing Celer back into the winner’s circle on Thursday at Gosford and delighted to say that’s exactly what happened!
Settling in 6th position early, Celer improved to 4th position at the 400m and with the pace very genuine up front was too strong in the run to the line, forging clear to score by almost a length.
Stablemate Oxford Angel ran terrific first-up, after doing a power of work in front she finished a close up 4th only beaten 1 1/4 lengths.
